ABS-CBN sets global premiere of 'Crazy For You'
PROVING that there is no stopping Filipino ingenuity, ABS-CBN schedules another Filipino TV first this September, when its newest teleserye "Crazy for You", makes a simultaneous worldwide TV premiere on ABS-CBN and all The Filipino Channel (TFC) channels at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, September 11.
The "Crazy for You" premiere takes advantage of ABS-CBN's unparalleled presence in nearly every continent in the world through TFC, and is ABS-CBN's way of thanking the international Filipino audiences for all their support throughout the years. "Crazy for You" is an appropriate choice for this breakthrough broadcast, as it is ABS-CBN's tribute to the sacrifices and struggles of the OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) - sacrifices that have touched, affected and benefited nearly every Filipino in the country. The pioneering TV event is a technological and entertainment innovation that aims to bring together all Filipinos worldwide in the simultaneous, shared experience of watching ABS-CBN's latest offering, wherever they may be.
"Crazy for You" stars Luis Manzano and Toni Gonzaga as a Filipino student and a Filipina OFW who cross paths and fall in love in Spain - and the lives of their loved ones in the Philippines, and their fellow Pinoy friends in Spain. In featured roles in this very special teleserye are Pokwang, John Prats, Michelle Madrigal, Roxanne Guinoo, Sandara Park, Joseph Bitangcol, Gab Drilon, Victor Basa, Aldred Gatchalian and Valeen Montenegro, as well as Jestoni Alarcon, Rio Locsin, Sylvia Sanchez, Emilio Garcia, Dennis Padilla and Ms. Gloria Romero.
"Crazy for You" has a quartet of directors on board, as well: Erick Salud, Lyan Suiza, Tots Sanchez-Mariscal and Andoy Ranay.
Airing times for the simultaneous worldwide broadcast of "Crazy for You" are as follows: London, 2:30 p.m.; Milan, 3:30 p.m.; Saudi Arabia, 4:30 p.m.; Hawaii, 3:30 p.m.; Pacific US, 6:30 a.m.; Central US, 8:30 a.m.; Eastern US, 9:30 a.m.; HK/Singapore/Manila, 9:30 p.m.; Japan, 10:30 p.m.; and Guam and Sydney 11:30 p.m. All airing times are for Monday, September 11.
