Less than 100 days before Christmas ‘a good shopping time’

“SHOP early to avoid the Christmas rush!”

The call was made by Cynthia Lim, a known local retailer in top various retail destinations in the country today.

With less than 100 days before Christmas, Lim stressed that “September is the start of the holiday season and observably, Filipinos are now beginning to buy goods and gift items to take advantage of the low prices and to avoid the heavy traffic and inconvenience of Christmas rush.”

Venues that were recommended to the early shoppers for quality shopping are the trade fairs and bazaars. Through those venues, “Consumers will be able to buy unique export quality products at very low prices, which are only available during the event,” Lim said.

One of the upcoming bazaars and the biggest among all the bazaars is the “Pamasko ni Kuya, a Pre-Christmas Bazaar of Best Filipino Products,” set on September 21 to 24 at the Megatrade Hall 2 of SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.

The bazaar is organized by the Philippine Chamber of Handicraft Industries, Inc. (PCHI) in partnership with the Market Encounter Goes to Manila (Megma) Foundation.

Already in its 10th year, the bazaar will feature the best products from various manufacturers of home decorations, giftware, holiday decors, processed and organic food, furniture and fashion accessories.

For more details about the bazaar, you may contact the PCHI secretariat at telephone number 638-7926; fax number 747-1865; email: pchi@globelines.com.ph and pchi@pchi.com.ph or visit its website www.pchi.com.ph. (Philexport News and Features/Sunnex)
