Actress's kin cry rape

A NIECE of actress Dina Bonnevie filed rape charges against three young men who allegedly took turns molesting her last Saturday morning in Parañaque City.

Parañaque City Police Director Ronald Estilles identified the suspects as Mikko Gimena, 19, and Richard Veneracion, 20, both of Barangay Don Bosco, Parañaque City. They were apprehended by the authorities hours after the alleged incident.

Another suspect, Philip Oyama, managed to elude the police and is being hunted down.

Investigation showed that the incident took place at about 2 a.m. in a residential house in Better Living Subdivision in the same barangay where the 14-year-old victim (name withheld for being a minor), a resident of Barangay Sun Valley, said the suspects molested her.

In a sworn statement to the police, the victim said she was invited by the suspects to a party in Gimena's residence and since she knows them, she accepted the invitation.

It was at the residence where the suspects allegedly took turns abusing the victim after she got drunk from liquor given to her by the suspects and passed out.

After the alleged incident, the victim revealed the ordeal to her mother who accompanied her to the police in filing the complaint.

Estilles said the victim was able to identify the two suspects as among those who raped her. (AH/Sunnex)
