Petron cuts LPG prices by 50 centavos

OIL giant Petron Corporation on Saturday slashed by 50 centavos per kilogram the prices of their liquefied petroleum products (LPG).

Pinoy Votes: Sun.Star Election 2007 Coverage

Petron Corporation information officer Raffy Ledesma said the reduction will take effect 12:01 a.m. of Sunday. This was the second LPG price rollback this month.

He said the 50 centavos per kilogram decrease is value-added tax (VAT) exclusive.

The LPG Marketers Association of the Philippines (LPGMA) earlier implemented the same reduction.

Arnel Ty, LPGMA president said the rollback in the prices of LPG is due to the improvement in the contract price of LPG in the world market. (MSN/Sunnex)
