Friday, July 06, 2007 Airline to add counters to serve growing clientele
WITH the increasing number of passengers it serves on a daily basis, Cebu Pacific has announced that it is adding five more check-in counters at the Manila Domestic Airport.
Cebu Pacific vice president for marketing and products Candice Iyog said the five new check-in counters is in line with the initiative of the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) to manage the rapidly increasing passenger volume in the domestic terminal.
"The additional check-in counters will definitely help us shorten queuing time. We know that the airport experience is critical to Cebu Pacific and we are constantly providing Miaa with feedback from our guests and together looking for ways to improve their experience at the domestic terminal," she said.
Cebu Pacific currently has eight check-in counters at the domestic airport.
The five new check-in counters will start servicing passengers on July 15, said Iyog.
Michael Shau, Cebu Pacific vice president for airport services, said they are thankful that Miaa is supporting them in their plans to increase the existing terminal's capacity.
