Tuesday, September 04, 2007 UP Dulaang Laboratoryo presents '621,987 Taon ng Paglimot'
THE University of the Philippines (UP) Dulaang Laboratoryo of the Department of Speech Communication and Theater Arts stages a new play entitled "621, 987 Taon ng Paglimot (Anim na Daan, Dalawamput Isang Libo at Siyam na Daan at Walumput Pitong Taon ng Paglimot).
Arlo de Guzman, a BA Theatre Arts cum laude in UP Diliman, writes and directs the play.
The play is about three women realizing that the thing they are waiting for whether it arrives or leaves is all the same. It is in our hands on how we live; how we give meaning to our sometimes unbearable but always resilient existence.
The play will run from September 5 to 7 at 7 p.m. and September 8 at
2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Teatro Hermogenes Ylagan, Faculty Center, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
