The young actress revealed that her debut will not just an ordinary, traditional debut but she chose to call it as a modern day debut.

Chiu's escort for the special night will be her on screen love team Gerald Anderson who will also be her last dance. Her father, meanwhile, will be the teen's first dance.

A well-renowned fashion designer, Francis Libiran, will prepare the three elegant gowns of the debutant.

Reports said the venue will be filled with lovely flowers from the Lily Flower Boutique while the event will be catered by Hizon's. The debuts souvenir will be provided by Charms and Crystals, as it is also one of the young actress's sponsors.

Chui has earlier received a very special gift, as she will be the lead actress in the remake of Korean series "My Girl".

She will play the role of Jasmine, while Anderson will be her leading man, as the young actor will play Julian.

She will also appear in Susan Roces Cinema Collection's Maligno on April 28 starring Claudine Barreto.

Reports said Chui's personal birthday wish is the success of her new series and more projects for her. As a special wish she still hopes for the time that she will see her mother again. The young actress and her mother where separated when she was nine.

Meanwhile, Chui expressed her seriousness with her career as she sets aside her love life and concentrate with her work first.

The full coverage of her debut will be aired on ABS-CBN special television show dubbed "My Girl Turns 18" at 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

The young actress's real birth date was last April 19. (JRDB/Sunnex)
