Sunday, April 27, 2008 'Lobo' casts surprise Locsin on birthday
THE whole staff of ABS-CBN television series Lobo cast a birthday surprise for the show's lead actress, Angel Locsin.
The staff made a surprise celebration on the eve of Locsin's birthday last April 23 at the function room (36th floor) of World Trade Exchange at Juan Luna St. in Binondo, Manila.
Locsin's leading man Piolo Pascual was present together with other co-stars Geoff Eigenmann, Pilar Pilapil, Dimples Romana, and Gio Alvarez.
In a television interview, Locsin said she was really surprised with the party pre-empting her plan to surprise the staff as she planned not to appear on their set at 12 a.m. of her birthday.
She added that she was touched by the preparations of the staff.
Pilapil, as quoted in a television interview, said "Angel you know I love you and I wish you all the best on your birthday. I wish you grow a woman of substance."
Locsin's friend Romana also extended a birthday wish hoping that her friendship with the actress will extend more than their show.
Alvarez and Eigenmann also wished Locsin success and extend their care for the actress.
Pascual, for his part, hoped all the goals and plans of Locsin be achieved and her desires and dreams be granted.
Earlier, Locsin celebrated her birthday with the children in Payatas.
The young actress said she opted to celebrate her birthday together with less fortunate kids than to hold a party.
She thanked all the people who continue to support her such as her family, ABS-CBN, Entertainment Live, and her fans. (JRDB/Sunnex)
