According to Eric Gutierrez, manager of the restaurant based in Pasay, their place is apt for family day-out as the children could be taken cared of by the waitresses.

Gutierrez said the place provides a lively, entertaining and friendly environment which deliberately amuse and liven up customers.

He added that the restaurant serves great food and services not to mention the relaxed atmosphere that the people could enjoy while they are dining.

However, the opening of the bar has been confronted with criticisms and disapproval from some concern groups.

Women's group Gabriela said, the restaurant provides a venue for molesting women.

The group said people should look at the wisdom why Hooters bar need women wearing sexy dresses to attract customers.

"They could talk, they could play with their customers, but that's the limit. If the time comes that there are some who cross the limit we help them that's why we have managers on the floor," Gutierrez said in regard to those who criticize their business.

Gutierrez also assured that no one will be mistreated in their bar as they enforce a "look but no touch" policy. The management makes sure that their employees are at good hands and will be properly protected.

The Hooters management instead invited all those people who condemn their business to come and assure them that their operation is smoothly flowing and no one has been or will be violated in their place.
