Friday, May 02, 2008 Housemate confesses love for Valerie
AVID fans of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen Edition Plus, especially the hopeless romantic ones, are definitely raring to find out the recent developments on the two most-watched love teams inside the country's most famous house: Ejay Falcon-Valerie Weignmann and Josef Elizalde-Nicole Uysiuseng.
"Promdie Hottie" Ejay, who has always been attracted to "Dazzling Doll" Valerie, finally had the guts to tell what he feels for her through a special serenade he prepared with the help of Jr. Kengkoy Arnan Clenuar, his Daddy Erning, and Gentle Giant Jolas Paguia and his Daddy Ike.
Valerie was so overwhelmed with Ejay's romantic efforts that she actually cried. She said it was the very first time she felt special. Ejay did go all out with it and he even blurted out "I love you" to the apple of his eyes.
Lethal Lasallite Josef and In-Chick Nicole's budding romance, on the other hand, was put to a halt, as Nicole's Mommy Sandy made it clear that she does not approve of the two teens' closeness.
Earlier this week, Mommy Sandy told Big Brother that she does not feel comfortable with the actions of her daughter and Josef. She reiterated that their family is conservative and that if ever there would be a courtship between Josef and Nicole, they would have to do it, the old-fashioned way.
Big Brother then allowed Mommy Sandy to spend the night at the teens' area to talk things out with her daughter. During her stay, she told Nicole that her closeness with Josef does not look good because they're under one roof and because Josef has a girlfriend.
Meanwhile, PBB Teen Edition Plus' "Sikat sa Haircut" contest is still ongoing. It is open to groups of friends all over the country.
A P50,000 prize awaits the winners. Winners also get a chance to have a billboard with the winner's barkada (minimum of five members) donning the coolest, hippest, and most extraordinary hairstyles.
In a related report, Big Brother spiced things up by giving teen housemates and the guardians a new task involving remote-controlled cars called "Karera-mote Control."
They had to practice maneuvering remote-controlled (RC) cars for an hour a day until the end of the week. They will then be tested through a racetrack, which they have to complete within the given time period. The housemates were all enthusiastic about the task that they decided to wager 60 percent of their weekly budget on it.
By the end of the week, they will be racing against each other. (Press release)
