Saturday, May 03, 2008 Actress breaks up with foreign lover
SEXY comedienne actress Rufa Mae Quinto disclosed that she already ended her long distance relationship with his Mexican-American boyfriend Bobby Lopez.
In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), she admitted that she met with ex-partner twice in Hong Kong and she is having a hard time coping with that kind of set-up.
"I only include him in my schedule but I am very busy right now. It's really hard for me with that set-up. I only exert extra effort for that," the actress said.
"I can't survive long-distance love affair as it won't go any further. For me, as I also said to Bobby, we are better off as friends and he should not expect whatever things," Rufa Mae said.
She said she is not closing her doors to another relationship but for now she will just focus on her career as it is going smoothly and strong.
"Sometimes my love life lessens stress in my work but if the situation is like this, I don't get to see my boyfriend always, its better to end our relationship," she explained.
Rufa Mae meantime is now a certified box-office star as her movie "Manay Po 2 Overload" made a big hit. From the success of "Manay Po" comes a blockbuster part 2 of the movie retaining the cast and still under Regal Entertainment.
Rufa Mae also starred in the upcoming film of GMA Films "ITALY (I Love and Trust You)" with scenes shot in Europe and Africa. (JRDB/Sunnex)
