Arroyo pardons 26 old inmates
PRESIDENT Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has granted conditional pardon to 26 inmates due to their old age.
In her Memorandum Order (MO) 155, the President granted them “conditional pardon” on April 30 and commuted the sentence of six others.

Pardoned were Ricardo Acevedo, Alejandro Agacita, Gonzalo Betanga, Crisostomo Buccat, Ernesto Calata, Apolinario Cativo, Melecio Dalisay, Nicanor dela Cruz, Alejandre delos Santos, Abundio Estrada, Antonio Ferolino, Benigno Fetalino, Efren Jabien, Teofilo Juaban, Pavio Llagas, and Delfin Lopez.
Also released were Eugenio Oquin, Leodigario Rosales Jr., Luis Rosales, Felipe Siao, Ignacio Sinoro, Virgilio Alinalan, Margarito Asok, Ireneo Bango, Agustin Cruzada, and Fermin Toribio.
Granted sentence commutation were Carlito Cabanig, Ruben Casasus, Almirante Guillermo, Rodolfo Lee, Norberto Errojo, and Demetrio Fajardo. (JMR/Sunnex)
