MALACAÑANG said the Philippine government will send a 15-man medical team to Myanmar to help treat the victims of the tropical cyclone that resulted in the death of around 22,000 persons.
Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has directed the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Department of Health (DOH) to prepare a medical contingent of doctors and medical assistants.
