MANY are thrilled to see award-winning superstars Aga Muchlach and Sharon Cuneta together in the big screen once more.
For the year 2009, Star Cinema is sketching a movie for the two stars. It will be taken abroad according to Aga himself in a report from Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).
The 38-year-old actor disclosed that the film-arm of ABS-CBN informed him and Sharon that they are already drafting the script for their movie and that they are planning to talk about it maybe after two weeks when Sharon comes back.
Sharon is currently in London filming for her upcoming movie "Caregiver" also with Star Cinema.
Aga said in his PEP interview, "The movie is quite difficult to do. Primarily because we're going to be working abroad again, a different country, and it's hard to work when you're abroad, it's tiring," he said in relation to his new movie.
Meanwhile, the actor did not reveal any further details about the movie saying the media will soon find out.
Aga recently had a box-office heart-flattering movie with Anne Curtis. He also play as a doctor in his regular sitcom still with ABS-CBN "That's My Doc". The sitcom has recently moved in an earlier time slot.
He also signed a contract with Sun Cellular as the newest celebrity endorser of the said telecommunication company. The actor joined Iya Villania, Jay-R, and Maja Salvador, as celebrity endorsers of Sun Cellular.
"Sun (Cellular) is a new player, there's room for growth and improvement, so I want to be a part of that. It's a new leaf of my life," Aga said quoted in PEP report.
There are also rumors that Aga will guest in the forthcoming 30th anniversary concert of international crooner Lea Salonga's dubbed "Lea, My Life...On Stage" on May 23 and 24 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Plenary Hall.
Aga and Lea also expressed willingness to do a movie together. They both starred in a romantic film "Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal" and "Sana Maulit Muli" in 1992 and 1995, respectively.
Meanwhile, in Aga's sitcom of "That's my Doc" on Saturday Aiza Seguerra undergoes a makeover as she dons a gown to join a Santacruzan.
"I really don't mind since the role requires it. I am glad that I will be able to entertain the people, especially the kids who follow the show," Aiza said in a press statement.
In the episode, Tita Ocs (Nova Villa) and Cita (Pokwang) spearheaded Aiza's makeover for the barangay's Santacruzan. To avoid it, Aiza pretended to have chicken pox after hearing Doc Aga (Aga Muhlach) is teaching the kids about chicken pox immunization at the "Care Mo, Care Ko" barangay center. (JRDB/Sunnex)
