In a late night television interview last Saturday, Marian said she rarely gets irritated and furious with personal intrigues. She admits though that it's hard when intrigues hit her lola and mother whom she wants to be spared by intrigues.
"I am ready with all the intrigues because its part of my life as an actress. Before I entered this industry, I already braced myself... I am here now and I will always be ready until the end," Marian said.
Marian marked her big break as a naïve turned sophisticated woman in "Marimar".
She is currently exploring the deepest sea as she plays "Dyesebel" in her new television series.
As a mermaid she said she is having a hard time wearing her weighty fin under water.
"My fin is really heavy. Sometimes Dong (Dingdong Dantes) assists me in wearing it together with three other people. When I am not under water four people help me to be able to wear it but when under water only one person (one who made the fin) help me out as it is easier when I am in the water," she said when sought for comments on difficulties she is experiencing in Dyesebel.
When asked how her relationship with other veteran and new co-stars is, the actress humbly said: "This is my first time to work with ate Lotlot (Lotlot de Leon) and what I am showing her is the real me."
She also said, "Most of the feedbacks from my co-stars as of now are all okay and I am also very thankful that all the cast of 'Dyesebel' are warm and nice and we all get along together."
Marian also shared that she never comes late for any tapings as she does not want anybody to wait for her in any circumstances.
She is always 30 minutes ahead when she has a scheduled shooting or event.
"I'd rather wait than let others wait for me," she said.
A simple woman, Marian said she'd rather mingle with other co-stars in the set than go out.
With the earnings she is having, the actress shared that she deposits her money in the bank and with her savings recently bought a super grandia car.
Her next goal is to put up a business then build her own house.
With her busy schedule, Marian said, she is open to enter into a relationship and it does not matter if a guy is from showbiz or not. "All I want is a person that will accept me as Marian and not Marian that the people are seeing on television," she said.
She however said she is focusing for the meantime on her career. She expressed gratitude for her mother network for trusting her and giving her projects. (JRDB/Sunnex)
