Colette hits RP with ‘Push’
By Jill D. Beltran

FOLLOWING the success of her first album “Hypnotized”, Zorpia’s featured artist -- Colette is back in a world tour promoting her new album titled “Push”.

Tagged as “voice of modern house music,” Colette who recently had her concert in Hong Kong, Taipei and Bali, Indonesia, which is part of her Asian tour, is expected to be a big hit in the Philippines.

She will bring down the house on Friday at Warehouse 135 in Manila as she proves to the world that she is “arguably the most predominant female disc jockey (DJ) worldwide”.

Push is Colette’s second album and marks the close of an exciting chapter in her life that included gracing the stage at Coachella, performing at E!’s televised Grammy party, seeing her single (“What Will She Do For Love?”) reach number one on Billboard’s dance music chart and also having her music prominently featured in the hit movie “The Devil Wears Prada.”

Colette has become one of the most favorite artists in the US today. S could hardly meet the demands of her appearances in visiting three continents in the span of one week.

She had just successfully met her fans and supporters in Shanghai, Sao Paulo and Tokyo, while maintaining her Smart Bar residency in her original hometown of Chicago and life in Los Angeles.

A woman in the middle of one of the most ego-centric musical genres, Colette has earned the respect of countless DJs both on her own and as part of the female SuperJane collective.

She went on to host Los Angeles mega-station KIIS-FM’s “Maximum Rotation,” appeared in television spots for the Motorola “HelloMoto” ad campaign and released numerous mix albums and singles.

Her latest album Push is a mix of pop melodies, electro beats and of course, Colette’s unmistakable vocals.

Other featured songs in Colette’s second album are “About Us,” “If,” “Call It Out,” “Think You Want It,” and “Dance With You”.
