Marian bags 3 awards in 38th Box Office

THERE is no doubt that actress Marian Rivera is one of the most talented and sought-after artists in the showbiz industry today.

In the recent 38th Box Office Entertainment Awards by Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc., Marian received three awards such as Most Promising Female Star, Phenomenal TV Star.

She was also declared as the Face of the Night.

"I owe all of these to my fans who are always there to support and help me. I offer this award to all the people who trust and love me," Marian said in her interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).

According to Marian, she did not expect of bagging so much awards from portraying the character of "Marimar".

When asked if she is expecting to become a Box Office Queen after winning two minor awards, she said: "It's hard to tell what will happen next year. But what the Lord is giving me right now is more than enough... knowing that many people loves me, makes me even happier," Marian said in Filipino.

The bubbly actress also said they are not expecting the high ratings "Dyesebel" is getting saying.

She however said what is important to them is satisfying the viewers.

Even in endorsements, Marian said she is surprised. "I am surprised. I am grateful for the people who asked me to endorse their product and I thank them for trusting me," she said.

In the same interview, Marian shrugged off issues that say some of Angel Locsin's endorsements will be transferred to her.

"I don't know. My manager handles my projects as an artist and as a commercial talent. I am not aware of that," she said.

Marian is set to shoot a new movie under GMA films entitled "Amnesia". In the movie she will be with Dingdong (Dantes) and Iza Calzado. (JRDB)
