Zelle makes soulful music
By Jill Beltran

"VOICE from the deepest soul."

This is how one of the most promising bands in the music scene today "Zelle" says of its music.

Arroyo Watch: Sun.Star blog on President Arroyo

Zelle renders songs with a passion that comes from every band member's heart.

Every song, vocalist Jeazell Grutas says, has its story to reveal.

Jeazell, her brother Jasper Grutas (drums), Anthony Ramirez (violin), Enan Cruz (bass), and Archie Salvador (lead guitar) comprised the quintet band. Together they passionately weave their experiences in the music they play.

Zelle is taken from Jeaazell's name. The singer comes from a family of musicians. She started singing solo when she was 14-years-old. Ultimately, she formed the band Zelle.

Anthony talks of the band's honesty and commitment.

Archie speaks of their taste and style of the same music.

The band's first album "Search for Warmth" has 11 original songs composed by the vocalist herself.

Some of their hit singles are "Sabihin", "Akala Mo Lang" and "As You Believe".

Zelle will breathe life into a short independent narrative dubbed "Magkaibang Direksyon" by Rommel Sales which will be screened in July.

Zelle will release soon "Hindi Na Sana", a song for those who have loved so much yet lost.
