FROM acting, to producing, and now a wife?
Last week, one of the noisiest rumors in showbiz was the alleged pricey diamond engagement ring Ryan Agoncillo gave to award-winning actress Judy Ann "Juday" Santos.
There were still no official statement coming from either Juday or Ryan but some of the people close to the actress gave their comment on "The Buzz".
According to Alfie Lorenzo (Juday's manager), Juday told him: "if ever there is really serious that's happening, you (Alfie) and mommy (Carol) would be the first one to know".
"Maybe, that was just a gift for Juday's birthday (search) or if it was really an engagement ring it means to be married and not necessarily means that they will get married the next day," Alfie added.
Meanwhile, megastar Sharon Cuneta, whom Juday considered as an elder sister and very close friend, was shocked when she first heard about the news. Sharon said she would rather downplay the issue first until Juday confirms it to her.
But she expressed happiness and excitement for Juday and Ryan if the rumors would turn out to be true. "I know that Ryan is a good guy and he loves Judy Ann very much," the megastar said.
According to a column item in one broadsheet, their source said while most people think a coffeetable book on the making of "Ploning" (Juday's first produced film) was Ryan's special gift to Juday, it turned out the long time boyfriend of the actress has a more important present for her 30th birthday on May 11.
The ring was given to Juday during the couple's vacation in Dumaguete with adopted daughter Yohann. It was allegedly bought in Hong Kong but no one still knows how expensive it really costs. (JRDB/Sunnex)
