Marian replaces Angel as new face of Jag

LAST Friday, actress Marian Rivera inked contract with Jag as the newest female endorser of the premium denim line.

Marian was accompanied by Will Devaughn, whom she worked with in "Desperadas" of Regal Films as her male counterpart in endorsing the said clothing line.

The actress shrugged off the fact that she replaces Angel Locsin as the female endorser of Jag.

"I have no comment on that. For me I am happy that many people trust me and I want to thank Jag for trusting me of course," she said promptly ending inquiries.

According to an interview of Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) with the management of Jag, it said that the tagline of the coming pictorial of Marian and Will is "Sexier and Hotter" as Jag brings their denim line to the next level that's why they opted to get fresh face like Marian.

Meanwhile, Marian is adamant on her stand with what she did in a guy on her YouTube scandal. "I don't see nothing wrong with what I did, I was being true to myself," she said.

Although she still wears her signature smile while answering controversies on her life, Marian cannot hide that she is also affected by the scandalous video of her.

"At first, I felt sad because some people judge me beforehand not knowing the cause of the incident. But like I said, I can't please everybody. For me, as long as I am true to myself and I am not stepping to anybody else, I am okay with that," she said.

"If ever that same incident should happen, I would still do the same and I will defend myself over and over again because for me I didn't do anything wrong," she added.

Marian also believed that what she did couldn't affect her sweet image as she said some artist backed how she reacted to the alleged nuisance and said that they should do the same thing as Marian.

"As long as there are people who will try to oppress me, I will fight them but if they are not doing anything bad at me, I won't do them any harm as well," she said. (JRDB/Sunnex)
