IF SHE is tough in her screen roles, Mylene Dizon is even tougher in answering all the intrigues in her life unwary if past or present.
One of her most controversial issues in the past was his relationship with band guitarist Ira Cruz, and as expected the same issue was exhumed but the fearless actress faced her past boldly.
In a television talkshow last Sunday, Mylene answered her killer question asking if she truly experienced the worst in her relationship with Ira and if it is true that she was a battered girlfriend and was addicted to drugs when she was with ex-partner.
As a response she said: “If this was true maybe I was not his girlfriend at that time.” She continued as she proudly said “My best relationship was with Ira Cruz.”
Mylene also belied that she was a battered girlfriend as she testified that Ira “never lifted a single finger on her.” She said the truth was she was the one who hurt Ira when they were together.
“Not physically,” she exclaimed. “I hurt the man… his heart. I hurt him in a way that I never really meant it. It’s just that I am a woman,” she said.
Mylene was indiscreet with her desire to give her relationship with Ira a second shot. She said they were never given a chance as the band guitarist is already committed to a “very popular TV personality”.
The actress said she is only waiting for the perfect timing to tell her ex-boyfriend what she feels and she was really sorry for what she did.
Meanwhile, her most recent relationship with Paolo Paraiso will not be left untouched as issues on their break-up was again discussed.
According to Mylene, the reason that she ended up her relationship with Paolo was because of irreconcilable differences. She said she doesn’t want their differences to affect their son, Tomas.
She brushed off money and third party as a cause of their split.
The actress was also rumored to have hooked up with actor John Estrada for one night sometime in the past. She denied the “hook up” but admitted there was an instance that John, who is her neighbor, was invited to a party in her house that might be the source of the gossips. (JRDB/Sunnex)
