Daboy discharged from hospital

AFTER one month of being confined at the hospital, actor Rudy “Daboy” Fernandez was finally discharged as doctors allowed him to recover at home.

Reports said one of the rooms in the actor’s house was turned into a recovery room where Rudy could rest and relax while he is recuperating.

“He (Daboy) misses the home, and we also thank people for all the prayers they worked,” said Ralph, Rudy’s eldest son.

Although Rudy is suffering from cancer, his manager Lolit Solis said Daboy remains a humorous person as he was.

Lolit shared there was an instance that Rudy branded in jest one attendant in the hospital as Mark Herras because of his spike hairstyle.

Meanwhile, Ralph recently graduated in an intensive film making course that will serve as his avenue in his plan to enter showbiz industry.

“My blood stream behind the camera to my grandfather is Gregorio Fernandez was an actor but eventually became a director,” the young aspiring director said.

Renz (youngest son of Rudy), like Ralph, is interested in joining showbiz, but he still has to finish his course in college as what his parents desire. “My parents want me to finish college (before joining showbiz),” he said.

Renz belongs to dean’s list that Lorna Tolentino and Rudy really wanted their son to finish his studies. (JRDB/Sunnex)
