EVERYONE is looking forward to the “Poohkwang” concert of comedic icons Pokwang and Pooh on Fridays and Saturdays of June, 8 p.m. at the Music Museum.
In a press statement, one of the most loved comedians, Pokwang started in a reality show in ABS-CBN. She already appeared in various teleseryes such as “Ysabella”, “Aalog-alog” and “Quizon Avenue”, as well as in films “Supahpapalicious”, “Agent X44” and “Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat”. She is now part of the sitcom “That’s My Doc”.
She has also been to different parts of the country and even abroad for her concerts. She was also awarded Best Comedy Actress as Doña Etang in “Aalog-Alog” and Best Female Comedian, awarded by People’s Choice Awards.
She is a mainstay of the daily noontime variety show “Wowowee”, wherein she fearlessly wears colorful costumes with a variety of themes. Her talent in dancing has also taken the spotlight.
Pooh meantime has appeared in TV shows “John En Shirley”, “Wazzup wazzup” and “Pangarap na Bituin”. He has traveled to different parts of the Philippines as well as in other countries for his in-demand concerts. With diverse TV guestings and gigs around Metro Manila, Pooh won the 2006 Aliw Awardee for Best Male Stand-up Comedian.
He also became infamous with his impersonation of People's Champ Manny Pacquiao wherein he used the screen name "Manny Poohkyaw". Pooh stands out from other comedians because he is also an in demand host and performer in a variety of concerts and events, with his perfect timing in cracking jokes as well as singing.
Pokwang plus Pooh equals "Poohkwang", will give audience tons of surprises and laughter at their concert.
