Lolit to accept projects from ABS-CBN for LT

COLUMNIST-TV host Lolit Solis admitted that ABS-CBN 2 is offering projects for her long-time ward Lorna Tolentino.

Lolit bluntly said she is willing to accept offers from ABS-CBN since Lorna has no exclusive contract with her current network GMA-7.

"Her (Lorna) contract with GMA is per program, she only has (contract) in 'Startalk'. She is not exclusive of the network, that's why if there are offers from ABS-CBN, she's accepting it," quoted from a report in Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).

Lolit disclosed that there are really offers from ABS-CBN 2 at present for the widow of the late Rudy Fernandez.

"Yes, she has offers," Lolit said. When asked if they will accept such offers she directly said: "Why not?"

When pressed what exactly the other network is offering Lorna, she said: "One teleserye and a talk show."

However, Lolit said there are still no definite plans and date for contract signing. She said the actress still wants to go back to work in August. "Maybe we will do the signing at that time," she said.

She confessed that Lorna's present network GMA-7 is still not aware of her plans, but she said: "if there are good offers from GMA, she'll consider."

The columnist ended that "Lorna really wants to do a teleserye in ABS-CBN 2 as she became known to Malaysia because of a program in the said network."

Lorna is in Boracay with two sons Ralph and Renz. According to Lolit, it is a "sentimental" trip of the actress' family as Lorna and her late husband always planned to go to the island, but then they failed to do so. (JRDB/Sunnex)
