Jennylyn rejects Patrick family's help

"JUST knock on the door and we will open for you."

This was the statement made by the family of actor Patrick Garcia addressed to young actress Jennylyn Mercado who is carrying Patrick's son.

But just like previous interviews of Jennylyn, she again declined the offer of Patrick's family, saying in a television interview "I don't need (such offers)."

"Why do I need to knock on the door that is not open for me," she added.

Jennylyn is firm in her stand not to accept any help from her son's father or family. Earlier, Patrick's mother offered an educational plan for Jen's baby but she refused it.

The actress said she will try to raise her son on her own, and she "thinks that what Patrick camp is offering is late already."

Jennylyn is expected to give birth to a baby boy in August, here in the Philippines dismissing her earlier plan to give birth abroad. "My OB (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) did not permit me to leave. My tummy is very big already," she said.

Almost two months before her delivery, she is still undecided on what name she will give to her son.

Few days ago, Patrick flew to the US to stay away from the pressures and issues about Jennylyn's pregnancy.

When Jennylyn was asked if she was aware of Patrick's departure, she said: "I don't know. I really don't know."

She said she has no communication with the actor at all.

Jennylyn hoped for a healthy baby and a normal delivery of her son. (JRDB/Sunnex)
