THE Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) has discovered that the town of Jones in Isabela Province is the new dumping ground for carnapped or stolen motorcycles from Metro Manila.

This after the HPG's Regional Highway Patrol Unit No. (HPU) 2 based in the province received reliable information that certain Restie Curutan, a native of Jones, Isabela and presently residing at 52-A Dagupan Street, San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City, sold about 50 units of motorcycles stolen in Metro Manila to different buyers in the said town.

During a follow-up operation in Barangay Daligan also in Jones, two other
Suzuki and Honda motorcycles, both registered in the name of Juan, were also recovered.

The owners of the motorcycles, all residents of Jones, Isabela, immediately surrendered it upon being informed that the said motorcycles were stolen.
