DUE to insistent public demand, the much talked about "spooftacular comedy show" entitled "Poohkwang" by Pokwang and Pooh is extended at the Music Museum.
Poohkwang became controversial when Annabelle Rama (actress Pokwang impersonates) got disappointed with Pokwang because of spoofing her twins Richard and Raymond Gutierrez.
Annabelle bluntly asked the comedienne to stop spoofing her sons. "If I were her (Pokwang), it's okay for me you've been mimicking me for years. I am happy at least you're impersonating me. But please spare my sons, Richard and Raymond," Annabelle pleaded in one of her interviews.
The fiery talent manager added that it is fine with her if Pokwang slur her character but not her children because the twins are simply working without bothering anyone.
Pokwang allegedly imitated Raymond. It looked as if Raymond was the less macho superhero version of Captain Barbell played by his twin Richard.
Annabelle said Pokwang made her sons look like "fools."
Pokwang promptly apologized to the Gutierrez.
"I would like to apologize to Tita Annabelle and to Richard and Raymond if they were irritated by my comedy acts. I really don't intend to hurt them," an apologetic Pokwang said.
The funny actress also swore that she will not impersonate the twins ever again in her future shows.
In a separate interview, Annabelle accepted the apology of Pokwang.
"She made an apology and I accepted that. So next time impersonate me not my children," the Gutierrez matriarch advised.
Annabelle also downplayed the rumors that Pokwang was removed in the cast of the movie starring Richard and KC Concepcion. "No, I will not do that to her," she said.
Pokwang and Pooh are two of the most sought after comical icons in the country.
The two have garnered various awards, proving their exceptional and humorous talent. They have also been part of different teleseryes, films and gigs here and abroad.
