MULTI-talented film director Felix Dalay succumbed to lung cancer last Sunday morning, July 6.
Dalay was known directing seven movies, including "Gising na si Adan" (2002); "Sagot kita: Mula ulo hanggang paa" (2000); Pepeng Agimat (1999); Erpat kong Astig (1998); Dr. X on the Air (1998); Sabong (1998); and Pulis Patola 2 (1995).
He worked with Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. in the movie "Pepeng Agimat".
He will also be remembered through his writings. He wrote several movie stories and screenplays like "Get My Son Dead or Alive" (1982); "A Man Called 'Tolongges'" (1981); "Bergado (Terror of Cavite)" (1976); and "Kapitan Eddie Set: Mad Killer of Cavite" (1974).
The late Junior Action Star Rudy Fernandez topbilled Dalay's film "Get My Son: Dead or Alive" released in 1982.
Aside from directing and writing, Dalay also produced films, namely: "Sagot kita: Mula ulo hanggang paa" (2000) where he was a line producer and "Nagkataon, nagkatagpo" (1994) as a supervising producer.
Dalay's remains will be laid at Funeraria Paz for three days. He will be brought to Paete, Laguna for his interment. (JRDB/Sunnex)
