Ara brushes off 'affair' with Dodie Puno

AFTER being linked to boxing millionaire Manny Pacquiao, Ara Mina is now rumored to have a relationship with influential Dodie Puno.

Dodie is also linked to Gretchen Barretto.

"Could they please stop!" Ara said in a report in Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP).

"They are connecting my name to several men that makes me appear bad," she said.

The sexy actress stressed that Dodie is her long-time friend even before she had a relationship with former boyfriend Polo Ravales.

"Dodie was my business partner in my former restaurant (Osteria). I ended my relationship with Polo, Dodie's still my business partner," she said.

She continued, "Why were we not linked during that time? Now that we have no business relationship and we are not seeing each other... It's late already! He has a non-showbiz girlfriend right now and I know her."

Ara is upset each time she is rumored with rich men. She said, "Hello, excuse me! I grew up having a yaya, we have cars and we ate three times a day and I studied in excellent schools. They know in showbiz who my family is."

The actress believes there is a person who wants to ruin her name.

Ara has no romantic relationship for almost a year now. She hopes to find a special someone this year.

"I hope before this year ends, I would meet my special someone."

Though she wishes to finally find someone special, marriage is still not included in her plans.

She said now that she does not have a lovelife, her phone bills are lower than before and she can travel and work abroad whenever she wants without the obligation of buying pasalubong for someone special.

"My boyfriend now is my career," she said.

Aside from her businesses, Ara is also busy playing the role of an antagonist in ABS-CBN 2's "Ligaw na Bulaklak". (JRDB/Sunnex)
