STUDIO 23 premieres the much-awaited appearance and performance of the international singing sensation Charice Pempengco in the US talk show "Oprah" this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Witness Charice as she sings Whitney Houston's hit "I Have Nothing" and stuns the audience with her amazing talent alongside of other brilliant and gifted youngsters in the special episode dubbed "World's Smartest Kids."
The 15-year-old young diva broke into tears when she finally met and hugged the queen of talk, Oprah Winfrey, and realized her dream of appearing in the world famous talk show.
Before appearing in "Oprah," Charice already gave other stunning performances in Ellen Degeneres's "Ellen," UK's "Paul O' Grady Show," and Korea's "Star King" where she was first noticed by the world after a fan uploaded her videos via YouTube and gained over 13 million hits.
Charice revealed in "Wonder Mom" last weekend how she is preparing for her upcoming performance in European Pop Tenor Andrea Boccelli's birthday concert in Italy.
She started singing at the age of four and loves American music especially that of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Celine Dion.
She was first discovered in the defunct ABS-CBN's singing competition for children "Little Big Star" hosted by Sarah Geronimo. (JRDB/Sunnex)
