"Joross invited me to watch a film with him... We first met when Direk Maryo (J. delos Reyes), the director of 'Magdusa Ka'(Katrina's afternoon soap) invited us for a show in Butuan City," the sexy actress said.
"That's the time we got to know each other... and then we became friends," she said.
Though the dinner date did not push through, they still went out for dinner instead.
"I was excited because I fell like I haven't gone dating for such a long time," she said.
Halili said Gamboa was nice.
