Ella V. decided to leave her promising career in lieu of a life together with Manalang whom she married last March 21.
"It's hard to have a long distance relationship. So I decided to settle here as he proposed to me. No I was the one who proposed to him," the sexy actress said in jest.
The actress said her family wholeheartedly accepted and respected her decision to leave the country and build a new life abroad.
"They are also happy for me because I have helped them a lot, and this decision is for them also," she said.
Ella V. continues to do some shows albeit in the U.S.
She said though she sacrificed many things for her husband, what is important is that she is now living with her biggest fan.
"I love her because she always makes me laugh. She always makes me smile and she's everything to me," Shane said. (JRDB/Sunnex)
