RISING star Jenica Garcia denies being given special treatment by GMA network.
Garcia who has been enjoying fame since she started as Karen Manansala in the defunct GMA's primetime series "Impostora", said she is treated the way other actors are treated.
Blessings continued to come through her other series like "Boys Next Door," "Pasan ko ang Daigdig," and "Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita".
She is currently in another primetime Korean remake "Ako si Kim Sam Soon".
Garcia said she never imagined she would be working with veteran actresses like Tessie Tomas and Regine Velasquez in a show.
"I am so happy to work with Ms. Tessie Tomas and Ms. Regine. I enjoy working with them," she said.
Garcia said she has always wished to be an actress like her mother Jean Garcia.
However, she wants to be recognized and be famous not only because she is the daughter of an acclaimed actress but because of her own acting talent.
The young actress admitted though that she would not be known if she were not Jean Garcia's daughter.
"Maybe if I am not Jean Garcia's daughter, I don't think people will recognize me. There are so many talented artists today, that's why I am so thankful for all the blessings I am receiving," she said.
