Dingdong elated over 'Blackout' experience

ACTOR Dingdong Dantes was one of the crowd's favorite during the recent Bench denim and underwear fashion show at the Araneta Coliseum last week.

Dantes, the newest endorser of Bench said his runway walk during the "Blackout" was memorable to him.

The brawny actor said he enjoyed the biennial fashion show of Bench where artists of two different networks gather to be part of one fun and exciting tradition.

Some reports that came out said Dantes was the "most applauded" Bench model.

This did not sit well with Annabelle Rama, Richard Gutierrez's manager cum mother.

Rama expressed disappointment over the alleged unfair exposure of her son during "Blackout".

She said he got less applause from the viewers because people hardly noticed his son on his dark complexion and make-up.

Dantes however downplayed the issue saying "When I came out, I barely see and notice the reaction of the people. I can even hardly hear them. I was so concentrated with what I'm doing, I was literally blackout."

"My focus is on what I am doing and what should I need to do," he said.

"Whatever the reaction of the crowd afterwards, I haven't noticed it nor heard it," he added.

Dantes also dismissed that he is having a rift with Gutierrez.

"Never, we never had a rift," he said.

Gutierrez in a separate interview also clarified that he has nothing against Dantes. (JRDB/Sunnex)
