ASIDE from hosting "Pinoy Records" alongside boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, basketball heartthrob Chris Tiu now gets to host his own show starting Monday, August 15.
The Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles' team captain will try to give his best shot in hosting the local adaptation of "Ripley's Believe it or Not" replacing "Kung Ako Ikaw" hosted by Joey Marquez and Kempee de Leon.
GMA-7 has bought the rights for the airing of the collection of Ripley's odd, unbelievable, and extraordinary artifacts, stories, and circumstances from multiple countries around the globe.
Chris now has two hosting jobs in GMA-7 as the network sees the potential in him to entertain crowd with his captivating charm and brilliance.
Other TV networks like Studio 23 and TV5 are impressed by Chris's hosting flair as they are offering shows for the UAAP basketball star. But then, Chris refused to accept their offers due to tight schedule.
Chris is juggling his time for TV hosting, basketball training, studies, business, and as a barangay councilman in their place. He also plans to start a foundation providing education for the less fortunate.
Although he is so much visible in television, Chris meanwhile said he has no plans of accepting acting projects. (JRDB/Sunnex)
