Marian-Dingdong vs Richard-KC

TWO of the most-awaited events in the entertainment industry this year are slated to happen in one remarkable day - August 27.

The birthday celebration of two of the hottest stars today - Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes - will be held at the Araneta Coliseum alongside of the premiere night of the first-ever team-up of famous stars KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez at SM Megamall.

In "Let's Celebrate: Marian-Dingdong Birthday Blowout," Dingdong and Marian will have seven production numbers each. It is a free concert, thus there is no doubt a large number of people would convene in the big event.

Some GMA artists will be joining the free concert to support two of the brightest stars of GMA.

On the other hand, Richard and KC's tandem is also expected to draw a crowd, as this is the first movie where two big stars worked in one movie together.

People are also excited to see "For The First Time," which was shot in the romantic island of Santorini. The film is under ABS-CBN film arm's Star Cinema.

As a split of celebrity viewers, all wards of Annabelle Rama are expected to attend the premiere and some of ABS-CBN talents to support KC.

The sure list of celebrities to view "For the First Time" are Eddie Gutierrez, Bubbles Paraiso, Ana Roces, TJ Trinidad, JC de Vera, Ehra Madrigal and Richard's siblings - Ruffa, Raymond, Rocky, Elvis, and Ritchie Paul.

Talks about the conflicting playdate of the two big events are now circulating and the two love teams will now determine whose stars are brighter and who will win the public's heart on August 27. (JRDB/Sunnex)
