Annabelle airs side on son's movie playdate

VETERAN actress and talent manager Anabelle Rama once again was flamed with anger.

This time, she got irritated by the issue of the same showing day of her son's movie premiere and Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes's birthday concert on August 27.

Annabelle, as expected, was offended by the set-up, saying the celebration of Dingdong and Marian's birthday was over in a Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) report.

"I will not buy that issue. Their (Dingdong and Marian) birthdays are over and I think this is intentionally planned," the talent manager said.

Annabelle knows that the birthday concert of the Kapuso stars might affect the number of people who will see the premiere night of the first movie of her son Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion titled "For the First Time".

Asked if she was upset with GMA-7 for scheduling the Marian-Dingdong concert on the same date as her son's movie, she said, "No. That's okay with me. I am happy with what they are doing. I have no idea why you are doing this but it's okay with me. I cannot do anything about it. Thank you so much for everything."

She believed that many people will still flock to SM Megamall on August 27 to watch the premiere showing of the first unexpected team-up of Richard and KC.

"To all the fans of KC and Richard, I hope they support 'For the First Time' because it's a good movie. And they can watch it over and over again because it is a very good film," she claimed. (JRDB/Sunnex)
