ACTRESS Manilyn Reynes suffered from a miscarriage last Wednesday.

This was confirmed by reports in an entertainment website but the actress’ camp still has no official statement regarding the incident.

Manilyn and her husband Aljon Jimenez were deeply saddened by the unfortunate event and consequently refused to be interviewed and pleaded for privacy at this moment.

Manilyn was on her third month of her pregnancy. This would have been her third child.

The first two children of Manilyn and Aljon are both boys. They were expecting the third one to be their first baby girl.

Manilyn’s last appearance in TV was during Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera’s birthday concert.

She surprisingly entered the Araneta dome as Corazon (her past role in Marimar) along with Pulgoso, the notorious pet icon in Marimar.

A week after the concert, Manilyn was rushed to Manila Sanitarium Hospital due to contractions.

Manilyn is one of the successful artists from the defunct television show “That’s Entertainment”.

She celebrated her 25th year in show business last 2007 in a concert at the Aliw Theater.

Some of her guests were the three special men of her life: Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, and Keempee de Leon. (JRDB/Sunnex)
