A reality show created by supermodel, actress, businesswoman and Emmy-award winning talk show host Tyra Banks, Canada's Next Top Model is a Canadian reality show in which 10 women compete to win a variety of prizes.

The aspiring models are taught the ins and outs of the modeling world and the winner walks away with a modeling contract from Sutherland Models, a US$100,000 beauty contract, an editorial spread in Fashion magazine, and the prestige of being Canada's Next Top Model.

The series features some of the most known and exceptional fashion and modeling experts.

Acting as the host and lead judge is Canadian make-up artist, fashion photographer and model Jay Manuel.

Manuel is known as "Mister Jay" in the show. He has appeared in "America's Next Top Model" and "E! Entertainment Television," and hosts his own show "Style Her Famous."

Serving as one of the judges for the competition is Canadian TV personality, author and newspaper columnist Jeann Beker.

Another judge is Stacey McKenzie, a Canadian fashion model and runway coach. She has appeared in different films and has various TV guestings.

Each episode also has a special guest judge who will offer his insights and expertise on the aspiring models.

Every episode, there is a specific challenge that the would-be models have to face. The challenge focuses on a specific element important to modeling, such as their sense of style, the way they walk on the ramp and even their attitude during the go-sees with advertisers and modeling agencies.

The judges then evaluate the contestants and decide on the winner of the challenge. The winner receives a prize for her victory, and also chooses a handful of co-contestants to receive similar, but lesser, prizes.

Based upon the girls' performance in the photo shoots, attitude in their work and skill in the weeks' challenge, the judges deliberate and choose a girl who must leave the competition.

Those who will still be staying in the competition are given their respective photos from the week's photo shoot. The girl who does not receive a photo bids goodbye to the competition.

What challenges will these aspiring models have to face? Will they be able to overcome the pressure and stress of the fashion industry? And the question everyone's been asking: Who will be "Canada's Next Top Model?"

Find out all the answers in the intriguing, entertaining and sometimes controversial world of modeling in "Canada's Next Top Model." (Press release)
