LAST Sunday in The Buzz, TV host columnist Cristy Fermin lashed back at Nadia Montenegro answering all the latter’s allegations during her interview last week in the same entertainment talk show.
The interview of Nadia was divided into five parts and for each cut, Cristy made her comment and revealed things about the private life of Nadia.
One of which, Nadia allegedly gave birth to a baby girl in a hospital “somewhere between Pasig and Mandaluyong, two years ago.”
Cristy revealed that Nadia used the name Nadine Villegas to cover up for her unwanted pregnancy.
Nadia, on the other hand, was quick to counter Cristy’s statement in a Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) interview that same day also after the TV host columnist’s tirade.
She said she was not surprised by the statement of Cristy because the columnist had been writing about her having different fathers of her kids. She claimed that it is impossible for her to deliver a baby without the knowledge of her husband Boy Asistio and her children.
She added that since she married Boy, she never left the side of her husband and she’s with him every day. “Unbelievable. I wanted to answer that. Twenty years, we’re intact. He’s with me every day of my life,” said Nadia.
Nadia also dismissed the account of Cristy that she asked her friend’s help to take care of the baby and after a few months adopted the little girl.
On Gretchen and Nadia’s rift, Cristy clarified that she has nothing to do with this hullabaloo.
The TV host claimed that she is not really involved in the rift between Gretchen and Nadia not until the former actress pointed out Cristy as the source of malicious issues against Gretchen and Dodie.
Cristy said Nadia was really the source of the rumors about Gretchen and Dodie’s “love affair.” She disclosed she was even told by Nadia to bring a lipstick camera and spy on Gretchen in a hotel where she usually meets up with Dodie.
Until now, the rift between Gretchen and Nadia is still not solved. Nadia claimed in her past interview that a text from Cristy was the reason why her 27-year friendship with Gretchen ended.
To prove Cristy’s claim, Nadia then challenged the TV host to furnish her the text message which was the root of ruckus. The text messages go as quoted in PEP, “Halika, nandito kami sa Serendra, magdala ka ng crew dahil naghahalikan sila.”
Serendra is the place where Cristy said Gretchen and Dodie used to go when they would purportedly stealthily meet up.
Until now, Nadia said Cristy couldn’t provide the said text message and claimed that Nadia called her and did not text her.
In the last part of Cristy’s interview, she defended that the reason why Nadia’s mother was rushed to the hospital was because of Nadia’s fault and not hers.
“Nadia tumaas ang BP (blood pressure) ng mommy mo sa Amerika dahil sa kagagawan mo at hindi dahil sa akin. Baka nga hindi mo pa alam, itinatakbo pa lang sa ospital at nagpapa-BP ang mommy mo alam ko na. Ang pakiusap niya sa iyo, ‘Huwag na huwag mong bibirahin ang Nanay Cristy mo dahil hindi natin kaya ang utang na loob natin sa kanya. Pero hindi mo siya pinakinggan’,” said Cristy.
Both sides had been aired. But nobody knows whose side is true.
It is expected that several names will still be caught up in this issue and as long as they are throwing statements against each other, this issue will continue. (JRDB/Sunnex)
