Sheryn’s album entitled “Sheryn Regis: Starting Over Again” under Star Records, tends to bring listeners back from the genre of music they loved to hear from the singer.
Most of her songs are still revivals but are blended with contemporary music suitable for all generations.
“We changed the arrangement to sound like contemporary. New mixture of music and instrumentation, that’s more soothing,” Sheryn said, describing her new album.
Her carrier single, bearing the album title and popularly played by Natalie Cole, is a hit on the radio and was chosen as the official song of ABS-CBN's primetime Koreanovela “Three Dads with One Mommy.”
Aside from revivals, Sheryn also has three originals songs on her album. One track was personally penned by her which is English original entitled “My Heart Beats for You.”
“Starting Over Again” was produced and composed by renowned composer cum song-writer Vehnee Saturno unlike Sheryn’s past three albums solely produced by Jonathan Manalo.
Vehnee also contributed a Tagalog original entitled “Sana Nandito Ka” and he helped Sheryn in composing another Tagalog song “Patunayan Mo.”
