In a press conference held Thursday, John, Jon, and Candy -- also known as the three royalties in the comedy world -- gave the press a taste of what they can offer in their upcoming show.

They promised for a fresh set of comedy skits, production numbers, and spoofs of controversial celebrities.

Some TV personalities who they will impersonate are Annabelle Rama, Kris Aquino, Bea Alonzo, and Charice Pempengco; international luminaries like Celine Dion and Oprah; and beauty experts Dr. Vicki Belo and Dr. Manny Calayan.

Every week, they will have special stand-up comedian guests namely Vice Ganda, Pokwang, Pooh, K Brosas, and Chokeleit. There are also special artists from ASAP '08.

"Da Spooftacular Showdown" will be directed by Phillip Lazaro, who also started and became known as a stand-up comedian. It will be shown all Fridays and Saturdays of November.

ASAP Live is the group behind the success of comical stage shows "Poohkwang" and "Rock Da Vote."
