Angel, Sam team up in a teleserye

TWO of the country's sexiest and talented artists today, Angel Locsin and Sam Milby, will be working in a teleserye together for the first time.

Although ABS-CBN has yet to confirm this report, Angel and Sam are reportedly teaming up in the Philippine remake of the hit Korean series "Lovers in Paris."

The possible team-up is purportedly in response to the petition of a large group of fans of the two after their successful union in "Maalaala Mo Kaya" last 2007.

Both Angel and Sam's fans said the two have good chemistry and fervently clamoring for their partnership. Based on Angel's official website, "Lovers in Paris" is expected to be aired early next year.

Angel's first TV project with ABS-CBN was "Lobo" alongside Piolo Pascual. They are currently in Australia shooting some scenes for their forthcoming movie "Land Down Under" under Star Cinema.

In "Lovers in Paris," Angel will be portraying the role of Vivian (originally played by Kim Jung Eun) while Sam will be Carlo (Park Shin Yang).

"Lovers in Paris" was a highly acclaimed drama series in Korea. It was shown in the country last 2005 and became a big hit marking a 39.7 percent rating in nationwide Primetime block.

This will be the second Korean series to be adapted by ABS-CBN after the highly successful "My Girl" starred by Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. (JRDB/Sunnex)
