According to Lo's report, Diet already inked a four-year contract with GMA Network last Monday.
Although this has yet to be confirmed by either of the two giant networks, Lo said the Star Magic talent "very kindly informed his bosses at ABS-CBN" regarding his transfer.
Diet was last seen in the recently ended ABS-CBN teleserye "Iisa Pa Lamang" where he played the role of Miguel, one of Claudine Barretto's leading men.
With his transfer, Lo said Diet will be doing the local remake of Korean series "All About Eve" starring Iza Calzado and Sunshine Dizon. Also in the cast are seasoned thespians Jean Garcia, Eula Valdez, and Richard Gomez.
He added that Diet will do movies for GMA Films and several hosting jobs.
Diet started as one of the members of Star Circle Batch 2. Until now, entertainment circle knows that ABS-CBN talent arm Star Magic headed by Mr. Johnny Manahan still handles his career.
How Diet managed to transfer with this set-up is the big question. All queries will only be answered by Diet. He will definitely have his official announcement about this issue anytime soon. (JRDB/Sunnex)
