Wednesday, November 26, 2008 Pinoy participante sets new Fear Factor world record
THE Philippines now holds the fastest record in Fear Factor's "slippery car stunt."
This was set last Monday by Pinoy Participante Manuel Chua who finished the stunt impressively in just 44 seconds. He was even the first participante who tried the stunt.
Manuel bested hundreds of participants who undergone the same stunt from about 30 countries who bought the franchise of Fear Factor.
The previous fastest record was 3 minutes 7 seconds made by Hungary.
The 10 remaining participantes of Pinoy Fear Factor is currently doing "slippery car stunt" for the Tersera Ronda De Eliminacion (Third Elimination Round).
Inside a car hanging 20 meters above the ground, a participante has to go out and get the car's plate attached at the front of the car. He will have to put the plate inside the car and get the keys located at the rear of the car.
He then has to head back to the drivers seat and using the key will push the alarm button. The twist of this stunt that makes it more difficult is the sprinkler, which makes the car slippery. (JRDB/Sunnex)
