The prelate added that he had approved the giving of gifts this Christmas, but reminded the people that it does not need to be too expensive.
"Let us learn to budget our resources," he said.
Likewise, Rosales also said that the people should not serve too many foods during the traditional "Noche Buena."
"If before you have 10 dishes there, now let's limit it to two to three dishes only. I think the virtue of prudence and simplicity should be there in our observance of Christmas," he said.
According to him, spending a little during the holidays would save them money for their future.
