Stars bare wishes for Christmas

IT IS Christmas time and everyone is excited that a "Santa Claus" would grant their wish.

Just like ordinary people, celebrities also have their wish list, and Sun.Star had an opportunity to know what's included in their list this Christmas.

Arroyo Watch: Sun.Star blog on President Arroyo

Vilma Santos:

"I just wish to spend this Christmas with my family. Maybe we will take a vacation also at least a week, around Asia, to have a rest."

Maricel Soriano:

"I hope people will learn to live happily so other people will be happy."

Gary Valenciano:

"I've seen and I've heard a lot of my colleagues spent a lot of time with children this year. Cancer victims, the poor, youth offenders I would love to do that even after Christmas season. Even the holiday season is over I pray that I could reach out to this people from all over the Philippines private and public schools I like to do my part. Keep the spirit of Christmas in them even if it is not December 25."

Lani Misalucha:

"Peace on Earth! I don't know I could not ask for more. Now in the States it's really tough right now, the economy is suffering really bad and I'm telling you a lot of people I can say that this Christmas I can see that they are really frustrated and very sad because a lot of them were laid off from work.

In one casino, I've heard na nale-lay off about thousands of employees so that's really sad. It is just fortunate for me that somehow I still get to have a job."

Ramiele Malubay:

"I wish to record an album here in the Philippines and to enjoy my first-ever Christmas here."

Karylle:

"I am just so happy with everything that's going on and it's hard to wish for anything more. I am just wishing for everything that coming my way to be successful as opportunities are continuously coming."

Shaina Magdayao:

"Ever since young, I have always wanted to have a white Christmas. So I hope I will be given a chance to spend Christmas with my whole family in the States where there is snow. I also wish that people would support my projects."

Gerald Anderson:

"I wish to spend Christmas with Kim (Chui). I will be spending my Christmas here and not in the States so I wish to spend it with her. I am planning to treat her this Christmas, but I think it would be a selfish idea because I know she would also want to spend Christmas with her family."

Kim Chiu:

"Wish ko natupad na! I wished for a new project and then He gave me 'Tayong Dalawa.' I also wished for a new lot and I already bought one. The next thing I would probably do is to build a house on the lot I bought. So I will invest in my house next."

Gretchen Espina:

"My Christmas wish would be more projects for next year and God's guidance... and those that I have saved money for (1) new Mac laptop, (2) new pillow, (3) day all-expense paid vacation, (4) my own jetski, and (5) one year supply of Gatorade, Starbucks, and cheetos."

JC Tiuseco:

“Since I’m new in showbiz, I hope I’ll land an acting job and more projects to come… And I hope I can adjust soon.” (JRDB/Sunnex)
