Monday, January 12, 2009 Dimples shares ‘embarrassing moment’ in Australia
ACTRESS Dimples Romana shared an embarrassing moment she had while filming Star Cinema’s new film “Love Me Again” topbilled by Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin.
Restaurant 9501 in ABS-CBN was filled with laughter when Dimples disclosed during the movie’s press conference, that she accidentally swallowed a fly while taping the film in Australia.
“There were so many flies on the set,” Dimples laughingly began. “There was one time when Angel and I were chitchatting and laughing out loud under a tree, Direk Rory (Quintos) was there, when a fly accidentally entered my mouth.”
“I tried to spew it out but it wouldn't get out so I was left with no choice but to swallow it, and they were all laughing at me,” she blurted.
Dimples, who looked embarrassed with what happened, further revealed that this embarrassing moment not happened once but twice.
“The next day I was not satisfied with what happened. I saw a helicopter and since it was my first time in Australia I was really happy and in awe with my mouth opened wide. And then I was choked with another fly again,” she said.
Afraid to get the same humiliation she got from the first incident, Dimples decided to disclose the second incident three days after it happened.
“This time I did not tell them immediately. I told them after three days because I didn’t want to add to the embarrassment I was getting,” she said. “The more I resisted the more the fly stuck so just swallowed it.”
Dimples, meanwhile, said aside from unexpected funny moments in Australia, she got to bond with her co-stars Angel and Piolo while doing their film.
“We really bonded as a family not just as co-workers,” she ended. (JRDB/Sunnex)
