Metrobank branch in Cebu City held up (12:50 pm)

CEBU - Five armed men barged into the Metrobank branch in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City, taking an undetermined amount of money at past 10 a.m. Friday.

Two of the holduppers disarmed the two security guards posted at the entrance of the bank, which was just near the Mabolo Police Precinct. They proceeded to get the money from the bank tellers.

The robbers fled on board a green Hi-Ace vehicle with plate number PDY 326 and then transferred to another vehicle.

Police picked up two men in Gochan st. in Mabolo st., Cebu City, for questioning and possible involvement in the heist. (Sunnex)
