Get Sinulog alerts on mobile phone, Internet
CEBU -- Updates on Sinulog 2003 activities are now available on the Sun.Star website at www.sunstar.com.ph and as text messages on the mobile phone.
Sun.Star Cebu and the Sun.Star Network Exchange (Sunnex) that runs the website and text services launched early this week its Sinulog 2003 online and wireless special.
On the Internet, visitors can go to www.sunstar.com.ph and click on the Sinulog banner. Visitors get from the web special the Sinulog beat, the schedule of novena masses and activities, procession and parade routes, helpful tips on how to survive the festivities, and other features.
Via the mobile phone, users can access the schedule of activities and Sinulog breaking news by typing SS NEWS CBU on their mobile phone and sending to 211 for Smart subscribers and 2333 for Globe.
Sinulog information on the website and via phones will be updated more than once a day or as soon as Sinulog alerts crop up.
These Sinulog online and wireless services are in line with the Sun.Star commitment of providing the public with information anytime and in any way they want to get it.
The Sinulog is an annual festival in Cebu in honor of the Sto. Niņo. The 10-day celebration culminates with the grand parade around the city this Sunday. (PR)
